The product gives eligible investors on-chain access to Strategy’s preferred stock exposure, which currently pays monthly dividends and carries an advertised yield of around 11.5%. Reports describe STRC as a tokenized version of Strategy’s “Stretch” preferred stock, with access expanded through Ondo’s real-world asset platform.

This is another sign that tokenized real-world assets are moving beyond simple experiments. For a long time, crypto was mainly seen as a market for coins, stablecoins, NFTs, and DeFi tokens. Now, more traditional financial products are being brought on-chain, including Treasuries, funds, stocks, and preferred shares.

What makes this launch interesting is the mix of three narratives: Bitcoin treasury exposure, yield, and tokenization.
