Olena Oblamska, accused of co-founding the cryptocurrency platform Forsage, has been extradited from Thailand to the United States, where she pleaded not guilty to charges related to a $340 million federal Ponzi scheme. According to NS3.AI, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon confirmed her arraignment on May 11. A magistrate judge has ordered her detention pending a four-day jury trial scheduled for July 14. Oblamska's extradition marks the first appearance in a U.S. courtroom by any of the four defendants named in the February 2023 indictment.
