🚨 NEW: 🇺🇸🇧🇬 Strains are increasing between Washington and Sofia.

Following the U. S. decision to deny visa-free travel for Bulgarians, Prime Minister Rumen Radev of Bulgaria indicated that U. S. military planes will only be allowed to stay in Bulgaria until the end of June.

Reports suggest that Sofia has declined to endorse a longer-term stationing and has informed U. S. troops that they will have to move their aircraft once the current extension concludes.

The aircraft had ostensibly been stationed in Bulgaria as part of a larger regional military preparedness strategy associated with tensions involving Iran and the Middle East.

This development introduces additional tension between two NATO partners as conflicts over travel limitations keep rising. 🌍⚡️
