👀 Vitalik-Linked Wallet Moves 7,000 ETH After a Year of Silence

A wallet tied to Vitalik Buterin just woke up — sending 7,000 ETH ($11.06M) to a fresh address after more than a year dormant, per Onchain Lens.

The pattern is familiar. The same wallet previously moved 1,300 ETH (~$3.19M at the time) and promptly deposited into Paxos — a regulated custodian. The structure of this move looks identical, so the strong assumption is this 7,000 ETH is also heading toward a CEX deposit.

What's left: The wallet still holds 20,001 ETH (~$31.6M) — so this is a partial move, not a full exit.

At $58K $BTC and $ETH under $1,600, a Vitalik-linked address routing 7K ETH toward an exchange adds a whisper of selling pressure on an already fragile market. But in the context of Vitalik's history (he's been transparent about using sales/fees to fund ecosystem grants and development), this is likely treasury management rather than a directional bet against ETH.

ETH is already at levels where many long-term holders are deep underwater — another seven figures moving toward liquidity barely registers on the macro scale, but in a market this thin, every kilocoin tells a story.

Not financial advice. DYOR.
