Every week, new AI models are released. Most people celebrate the growing number, but quantity creates its own problem. More choice does not automatically make AI more useful.
That was one insight I took from the @OpenGradient ecosystem.
A network becomes valuable when developers can discover, deploy, and verify models through the same infrastructure. The challenge is no longer creating another model. It is making useful models easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to build with.
Crypto taught me that the platforms which survive are not always the ones with the most assets. They are usually the ones that make those assets genuinely usable.
I still do not know which AI infrastructure will attract the strongest developer community. That answer depends on real builders, not marketing.
The next breakthrough in AI may not be another model.
It may be making the right model easier to use.
