The AI sector is full of compelling narratives.

Autonomous agents.

Decentralized intelligence.

Verifiable AI.

Private inference.

Most of these ideas sound exciting.

The harder question is how they perform outside presentations and whitepapers.

That's something I appreciate about following projects like @OpenGradient over time rather than judging them from announcements alone.

Roadmaps are easy.

Execution is difficult.

I'm not looking for perfection.

I'm looking for measurable progress.

Working products.

Developer adoption.

Real usage.

The crypto market has become much better at rewarding delivery over storytelling.

I suspect AI infrastructure will follow the same path.

Eventually, the conversation shifts from "What could this become?" to "What has it already proven?"

That's the transition every serious project has to make.
