Michigan issued a temporary restraining order barring Kalshi from offering sports-related event contracts in the state for 14 days. Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie E. Aquilina issued the order on Monday. Kalshi faces a $120,000 daily fine if it does not comply with the geo-fencing requirements. Michigan sued Kalshi in March over alleged violations of the Lawful Sports Betting Act.
