Yesterday (December 22, 2025), 🇬🇭Ghana Parliament passed a new law called the Virtual Asset Service Providers Bill.
🧐In simple terms: Cryptocurrency (like Bitcoin) is now fully legal in Ghana! Before this, crypto was in a gray area – the central bank had warned about risks, but many people (about 3 million Ghanaians!) were already using it for things like sending money home or protecting against #Inflation .

What changes now?

🫡.You can buy, sell, and trade crypto without worrying about getting in trouble.

🫡.But companies (exchanges, wallets, etc.) must get a license from the Bank of Ghana to operate safely.

🫡.This brings rules to protect people from scams, money laundering, and other risks.
