Earlier today I finally understood a rough experience I'm having with @binance 's #tradersLeagueSeason2 . What happened doesn’t sit right with me.
I was doing great in Futures: 155% ROI, ranked 7th in LATAM, on track to win $800. Feeling good, I decided to try my luck in Spot too.
Moved my funds from Futures to Spot to see if I could earn some extra prizes. Quickly realized it was too late in the competition and moved them back (pic 1).
Big mistake, for some reason transfers are counted as deposits in the ROI calculation. That one move dropped my ROI from 155% to 53% (pics 2 & 3).
I didn’t lose a trade. I didn’t mismanage risk. Just internally moved funds between sections, and lost a $800 prize because of it (pic 4 is my account growth in June).
