🧠 Short Intro
POL is the upgraded native token of the Polygon network, introduced as part of Polygon 2.0. It is designed to support a multi-chain ecosystem and improve how users and validators participate in the network.
📌 What Polygon & POL Are
Polygon is a popular scaling platform for Ethereum that helps make transactions faster and cheaper. Earlier, Polygon used MATIC as its main token. Under Polygon 2.0, POL is being introduced as the new token.
POL is called a “hyperproductive token” because it can be used for multiple purposes at the same time.
POL token is used for:
