Crypto Buddy or Not?
I apologize that my speech will not be about Trump and his speech.
Crypto exchanges love running promotions to attract new users. Token giveaways, stablecoins, NFTs, merch, and other rewards—this has become the norm. And let’s be honest, we all enjoy it: you don’t have to do much, yet you get a nice bonus. Sounds perfect, right?
But let’s face it—it’s all marketing. Smart, engaging, well-crafted. And we’re all part of the system. Who hasn’t searched for a “promo code” or a “referral link” before signing up just to squeeze out some extra perks? I know I have.
But that’s the beauty of referral programs! A never-ending cycle of rewards, where users help each other, bring in friends, and earn in return.
❗ The problem is:
Finding new users is getting harder. Most people already have at least five accounts across major exchanges. Newcomers are running out.
So when I saw WhiteBIT "Buddy Bonus" promo, my first thought was: "Sounds cool, but it’s time to change the strategy!"
💡 What’s the next step?
Here’s the solution:
➡️ Allow not just new users but also existing ones to participate!
➡️ Let them complete new challenges: make a deposit, increase trading volume, etc.
➡️ The exchange wins, and users stay engaged.
