What to Expect When Your Pi Transferable Balance Drops to Zero
If you woke up on March 14, 2025, to find your transferable Pi balance had mysteriously disappeared, don't worry - you're in good company! Many miners are experiencing the same issue, and here's what's probably causing it.
The Pi Network's KYC and Mainnet migration deadline passed at 8:00 AM UTC (1:00 AM PDT). Even if you completed your KYC, your balance might have vanished or been labeled "unverified." This is likely a result of a system-wide update reviewing balances and verifying referrals' KYC status.
Here's the silver lining: if you successfully completed KYC, your mined Pi is likely still secure. Past instances, such as the December 2024 KYC update, have shown that balances are usually restored once the system finishes processing.
To resolve the issue:
Check your Pi app to see if your balance is labeled "unverified."
Give it a day or two - this is probably just a temporary glitch.
