Panama City Will Accept $BTC , $ETH as Payment for Public Services

While many governments are still debating crypto regulation, Panama City just did it. 🏙️ Starting with BTC, ETH, USDC, and USDT, locals will soon be able to pay for public services — from taxes to permits — using digital assets.

Mayor Mayer Mizrachi says they’ve found a legal workaround without waiting on national legislation. Instead, the city will work with banks to convert crypto to fiat.
