I never thought I’d fall victim myself—it actually happened. I tried selling USDT through P2P and released the crypto after the buyer showed me what looked like a bank slip. A few minutes later, it hit me: no money had reached my account. The buyer disappeared right after.

I reported it on the spot, but unfortunately, it was too late by then.

Here’s what this painful lesson taught me:

Never release your crypto until the funds have fully landed in your bank.

Always check the exact transaction time and the account holder's name.

Never rely on screenshots alone—verify everything through your actual banking app.
