#BreakoutTradingStrategy Alright, so imagine you're looking at a stock chart, right? Sometimes, the price just kinda chills out in a certain zone, bouncing between an invisible ceiling (that's "resistance") and an invisible floor (that's "support"). But then, boom! The price suddenly busts through that ceiling or crashes through that floor. That's a "breakout."
Now, breakouts can be awesome – they can kick off a huge move in the stock. But here's the kicker: sometimes, they're total fakes. The price pops out, you get all excited, and then it just flops right back into the old zone. We call those "fakeouts" or "traps." Annoying, right?
So, how do you play it smart?
First, spot those key levels. Where has the price bounced around before? Draw your imaginary lines there.
