I have injected large sums of cash into Fogo main net this week. I have not done so to make an airdrop grab. I wished to assess if Fogo actually performs as advertised, i.e. Whether Fogo is bringing centralized and decentralized finance closer together? The answer, put briefly, is Yes. It is closer together than I have seen on any block chain. I dabbled in a few high-frequency trades, on decentralized exchanges and I saw a thing. The faster you trade the more the rules of the game change, you are no longer worried about getting the execution and you have to worry if your strategy is profitable. That is a way of thinking and how traditional traders operate. On Fogo you are not clicking a button and wondering whether the order gets filled. That has gone away. Fogo is not yet perfect and it is the first block chain where I began to wonder if the product will deliver. The moment my transaction confirmed before I had even lifted my finger of the screen, I knew Fogo was different. I used my money and saw some real things, I do not require a pitch deck to prove it to myself.
