In a long-term security move, developers are also preparing Ethereum for the post-quantum era, ensuring future computers won’t easily break blockchain cryptography.
Perhaps the most eye-catching upgrade: native L1 privacy, enabling shielded ETH transfers directly on Ethereum a major shift toward optional on-chain confidentiality.
