This move coincides with his recent transition to join OpenAI and the shift of OpenClaw to a foundation. While OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is associated with Worldcoin, Steinberger's stance against cryptocurrency appears to be independent, aiming to keep OpenClaw's focus solely on AI development.
