Every 4 years, halving happens, cutting the new BTC supply in half.
Check out what happened to the price after past halvings:
2012: $12 to $1,000+
2016: $650 to $20,000+
2020: $8,800 to $69,000+
2024: $64,000+ Bull run still going strong.
The next one is in 2028 (around March-April, at block 1,050,000) where the reward drops from 3.125 BTC to 1.5625 BTC per block.
