China and U.S. Convene in Madrid for High-Stakes Trade Talks

The two countries southernmost officials met in the Spanish capital to deliberate on some of the most urgent trade and economic issues. The meeting taking place within the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, remains yet another desperate attempt to keep the relationship from unravelling while attempting to prevent an erosion of control over destabilizing matters. Tariffs, trade, and even the export of digital borderless service products, all come under current and future concerns as the two powers work to replace the trade deal that ends in November. The talks are sponsored by Vice-Premier of China He Lifeng and Betsant, the chief of the Treasury in the United States, depicting the investment to pursue the talks under the given and increasing unpredictable global economic conditions.
