--- THE THREAD ---

1/5 🚨 THE HACK:

Bitcoin DeFi platform Solv Protocol just got exploited. An attacker drained 38 SolvBTC (worth $2.7 Million) from one of their BRO vaults .

The vulnerability? A "double-minting" flaw in the BRO contract. The hacker exploited it 22 times, turning 135 BRO into 567 MILLION BRO, then cashed out . Cold-blooded. 🥶

2/5 🛡️ THE RESPONSE:

The team acted fast:

· ✅ Affected users: Less than 10 (very contained).

· ✅ They promised FULL reimbursement for victims.

· ✅ They are working with SlowMist, CertiK, and Hypernative .

· ✅ They offered the hacker a 10% white-hat bounty to return the funds .

3/5 🔥 THE INSANITY (HOT TAKE):

Here is where it gets weird, fam. 👇

Usually, a hack dumps the token price. But $SOLV pumped 3.5-5% after the news . Trading volume surged to $8.1M .

Why?

The market saw the quick response and the contained damage. Solv is backed by Binance Labs and Blockchain Capital . They have 24,226 BTC in reserves . They can afford this. The market trusted the response more than it feared the hack.

4/5 🧠 THE JALILORD9 ANALYSIS:

This is a textbook case of "Event Risk vs. Solvency Risk."

· Event Risk: $2.7M loss.

· Solvency Risk: Near zero.

If the hacker accepts the 10% bounty, the net cost drops to ~$2.43M . For a protocol with $623M+ locked, that's a bargain for a security lesson .

5/5 👇 POLL TIME:

Do you think the hacker will accept the 10% white-hat bounty and return the funds?

A) Yes, 10% of something is better than 100% of nothing. 🤝

B) No, they will try to launder it. 💀
