On March 2, Afghanistan's Air Force struck several key Pakistani military installations using drone aircraft, including the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, the 12th Corps headquarters in Quetta, and other military bases. Afghanistan's defence ministry described the strikes as a response to Pakistani aerial incursions.
Most recently, on March 13, Afghanistan conducted further retaliatory drone strikes on military installations in the Kohat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following Pakistani artillery fire on the Khost province that killed four members of one family.
