A Lesson I Learned After Losing My First Futures Trade
When I first started trading crypto futures on Binance, I thought using high leverage was the fastest way to make money.
My first trade was on $BTC with x50 leverage using around $100 margin.
At first the trade was in profit, about +$25. I didn't close it because I wanted more.
Then the market suddenly moved against me and within minutes my position was liquidated.
That moment taught me something important:
High leverage doesn't make you rich faster.
It just makes you lose faster.
Since then I changed my strategy:
I only use x5 – x10 leverage
Risk only 5–10% of my capital per trade
Always set a stop loss
Now my goal is simple: survive the market and grow slowly.
Coins I'm watching recently:
$BTC $ETH $SOL
Crypto trading is not about winning one trade.
It's about staying in the game long enough to win many.
