Most people who held $BTC or $SOL over the past year underperformed the asset itself. This sounds strange, but it is common.

The asset gained 40% over the year. The person who held through every correction captured that 40%. The person who sold during corrections and bought back at higher prices? They captured 15-20%.

The asset did its job. The behavior did not.

This is why holding a position is underrated. The hardest part of being in the right asset is staying in it long enough for the thesis to play out without letting emotion subtract from the return.

Thousands of people picked $BTC at $60K. Far fewer actually held it to $80K. Most of them traded in and out and ended up underperforming a simple hold.

The edge is not in picking. It is in not being your own worst enemy.
