Is 2026 Altseason Cancelled
This question is everywhere right now. One day the market feels excited. The next day everything cools down. That is why people feel confused.
In my opinion altseason is not cancelled. But the old style altseason like 2020 and 2021 will not come back the same way. The market has changed.
Money rotates much faster now. People take profit quicker. So many coins do not pump together for a long time. One coin moves. Then it fades. Then attention jumps to the next one.
Bitcoin still controls the room. When BTC is strong most liquidity stays there. Altcoins get less space. When BTC is weak fear spreads and altcoins drop even harder. That is why a full broad altseason feels rare.
Also the supply is huge now. New token launches keep coming. Airdrops and unlocks add selling pressure. Teams and early investors take exits. Liquidity gets divided across too many coins instead of focusing on a few.
So yes I think we will still see alt moves in 2026. But not like the old days. It will look more like small waves and quick rotations. Only a few strong coins will lead at a time.
