SEC GIVES TOKENIZED STOCKS THE GREEN LIGHT 🟢
The SEC just approved a #Nasdaq rule change that allows securities to trade in tokenized form -- a major step in bringing #blockchain rails into regulated financial markets.
Under the new framework, eligible stocks and major ETFs can trade in tokenized form alongside traditional shares, with the same pricing, execution priority, market data, and shareholder rights. That means voting rights, dividends, and asset claims stay intact.
What changes is settlement -- with tokenization being introduced through market infrastructure instead of outside it.
