How Midnight Network Can Prevent Front-Running in DEXs

I have been thinking about front-running in decentralized exchanges, and it often feels like an unavoidable flaw in transparent systems. When transactions sit in public mempools, anyone can see them before execution. That visibility allows bots to reorder trades and extract value. When I look at Midnight Network, the approach seems different. If transaction details remain confidential until execution, the opportunity for front-running could be reduced.

In theory, hidden order flow changes the game. Still, I remain cautious. Preventing front-running requires more than privacy alone. Execution ordering and network design must also align, or new forms of manipulation may emerge.
