I lost 89% on this coin — $HOOK .
I started dealing with it back during the #launchpool on #Binance . At that time, I simply put my BNB into the pool and waited for the rewards. Once I received my payout, I sold everything right at the opening of the trading pair and moved on.
But one day, when I logged back into Binance, I noticed something unusual: instead of dropping after listing, the coin started going up. It wasn’t exactly surprising, but it looked like an interesting opportunity to make more profit.
I allocated a portion of my budget and tried to spread my entries according to the chart. The goal was modest — to make around +5–10%. But something went wrong…
The chart kept printing green candles, and I just kept buying and averaging down my position. When the growth finally stopped, I expected a correction so I could accumulate even more, since the project seemed promising at the time.
And then the correction came: the price started to fall — first a little, then more, and then even more… Eventually, the coin began dropping sharply with each new monthly candle.
Instead of stopping, I doubled down and kept buying even more aggressively. Then, during the second half of 2025, I stopped checking the exchange altogether.
In 2026, I checked my portfolio on #CoinMarketCap and saw that I had already lost around 80% of my investment in this project. Shortly after, I received a delisting notification from Binance.
It’s frustrating when a project you believed in slowly fades away, while you’re still waiting — with hope in your eyes — for it to rise again.
Right now, I can also point out a few other projects that, in my opinion, are mostly being sustained by the efforts of their creators: $HFT , $TRB , APT, IQ.
