🚨 BIG WARNING: THE NEXT 36 HOURS WILL DECIDE FATE OF US-IRAN WAR
Today, President Trump gave a 48-hour deadline to Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz.
He said Iran's power plants will be fully destroyed if the Strait of Hormuz isn't opened.
Iran's Response?
It will completely close the Strait of Hormuz if any attack happens on its power plants.
This will effectively close 20% of the global oil supply, most of which goes to Asia.
But why does this deadline matter?
This isn't due to the US inability to strike more.
This isn't due to the global oil price spike.
This is all due to bond markets breaking.
US 10Y yield is about to enter the "4.5%" danger zone, which has crushed the stock market in the past.
Trump knows that if the Strait of Hormuz remains mostly closed, bond yields will spike.
In 2026, the US government has to refinance over $9 trillion in debt, and if bond yields continue to go up, the refinancing will cost a lot.
The only way to solve this is by pushing bond yields lower.
Strait of Hormuz opens ➙ Inflation expectations go lower ➙ Fed becomes more willing to cut rates ➙ Bond yields drop ➙ Stock market rallies
And what if Iran keeps the Strait closed?
In that case, stocks and crypto will experience a crash even more brutal than April 2025.
