Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz after U.S. President Donald Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum to reopen the waterway.

The country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also warned it would target companies with U.S. ownership if United States attacks Iranian energy facilities.
