A $1.7T asset manager, Franklin Templeton, has partnered with Ondo Finance to bring tokenized ETFs on-chain, enabling 24/7 trading of stocks, gold, and bonds directly through crypto wallets — a major step toward bridging TradFi and DeFi.

Ondo operates via an SPV model, acquiring real ETFs and issuing blockchain-based tokens that mirror their value. With $620M TVL, $12B in cumulative volume, and over 60,000 users, the infrastructure is already gaining strong traction.
