I’ve stopped trusting big numbers at first glance because I’ve seen how easily they can be inflated. Millions of wallets and billions in distribution sound strong but they don’t tell me who actually stayed after the incentives ended. Airdrops can boost participation not real usage.
When I look at Sign Protocol hitting 40M wallets and $4B distributed I don’t get impressed immediately I question the depth. Are people actually using it consistently or was it just a one-time interaction?
What I respect is the focus on building That’s rare But one strong phase isn’t enough I want to see long-term usage repeat engagement, and steady growth without incentives.
In the end, I don’t follow numbers anymore. I follow behavior.
Am I using it? Are others coming back? That’s the real signal.
