networking is a WASTE of time for most of you

and deep down you know it

i see the same shit every day

people going networking events or outreaching DMs

“can i pick your brain”

you want something, but you’ve got nothing

and you wonder why it goes nowhere

people don’t network with you out of kindness

there’s always a reason

usually one of three

1. you make them money

2. you have access they don’t

3. or you’ve already done something they respect

but even that’s not the full truth

because i’ve seen people with all three still get ignored

why?

because they’re slow

they don’t execute

they’re a headache to deal with

no one says it to your face

they just stop replying

that’s how it works

so you end up chasing “connections”

when in reality

you’re just avoiding building something real

be honest with yourself

if you were them

you wouldn’t reply to you either

build something that forces attention,

where people want to come to you

until then

stop pretending networking is the problem

it’s you
