Strange news appears every day, but sometimes a story is so unusual that it shocks you and makes you smile.

This time, it’s about chocolate — not a new flavor or a price hike, but a huge theft.

In Europe, a truck carrying KitKat chocolates mysteriously disappeared. The truck was traveling from Italy to Poland and was loaded with nearly 12 tons of chocolate — that’s over 400,000 chocolate bars.

No truck, no cargo, and no clear trace.

The timing made it even more serious because Easter was near — a season when chocolate demand is very high in Europe. This means some markets could even face a temporary shortage.

In terms of value, even if one bar costs just £1, the total loss comes close to £400,000, which equals millions in Pakistani rupees.

The company says each bar has a batch code, so selling the stolen chocolate openly won’t be easy. Although such trucks usually have tracking systems, criminals can disable them in remote areas, making recovery difficult.

And here’s the funny thought — maybe the thief isn’t selling it at all and is just slowly eating thousands of kilos of chocolate 😄

On a personal note, I grew up loving Jubilee chocolate, and KitKat has always been a favorite too.
