I didn’t start looking into SIGN because of the token.
I looked because the problem they’re solving is actually real.
Most systems today still struggle with two things:
- verification
- distribution
- Who is eligible?
- Who is verified?
- Who should receive what?
That sounds simple until you see how messy it gets at scale.
What stood out to me about SIGN is that it connects those layers properly.
Verifiable credentials + programmable distribution is a much bigger use case than most people realize.
That’s not just useful for crypto.
That’s useful for institutions.
And when a project starts becoming useful beyond its own ecosystem, I pay more attention.
That’s why I think SIGN is worth watching.
