Midnight announces the launch of its mainnet

#Midnight is now live on mainnet, aiming to provide end-to-end programmable privacy. The network features a hybrid ledger, client-side zero-knowledge proofs, and both shielded and unshielded assets with selective disclosure. It uses a dual-token model: NIGHT (governance/utility) generates DUST, which pays transaction fees via a “battery” recharge system. Development is powered by Compact, a TypeScript-based language that simplifies building with zero-knowledge proofs.
