Short the bounce, not the dump. Let liquidity get swept, then press the move if bids keep failing on the reclaim. Watch for weak absorption at the top of the range and keep size tight while sellers control the tape. If price can’t reclaim the rejection zone, stay with the downside until the market flushes the obvious stops.

This matters because a clean rejection after a failed push usually means trapped longs, and trapped longs fuel faster downside. I’d rather ride the sweep than chase strength here.
