$SIREN Marco Rubio has voiced strong support for ending birthright citizenship in the U.S.

However, critics are pointing out that Rubio himself was born in 1971 to immigrant parents who did not become citizens until 1975. Under the very policy he currently opposes, he would not have been granted American citizenship at birth.
