John McAfee said $BTC would reach 500K by 2020 and later even talked about 1M. At that time people either believed hard or completely ignored it.
But when 2020 came $BTC was only around 7K to 10K nowhere near that level.
Later he stepped back and said it was more about bringing attention to crypto than a real target.
Lesson is simple big predictions sound exciting but market moves in its own way.
