#pixel $PIXEL @Pixels Pixels is quietly doing what most Web3 games put on a roadmap and forget about.

$PIXEL now works inside Forgotten Runiverse, a totally separate game on Ronin. Runiverse players earn Quanta, swap it for $PIXEL, and spend it on mana, boosts, and exclusive items. Same token. Different game. People actually using it.

What I find interesting is not the collab itself. Biosonic is sitting there measuring whether $PIXEL actually drives players to come back, stick around, and spend money inside Runiverse.

That kind of accountability is rare in this space. Most teams announce partnerships and never mention them again.

Also worth noting, Pixels did not just jump into this. They cut daily token inflation by nearly 84% before any of this, and monthly pixel revenue has been growing since. They sorted their own economy first. Then expanded. That order of operations matters more than people give them credit for.

Most gaming tokens feel like arcade coins that stop working the moment you leave that one arcade. Pixels is testing whether a token holds weight when it travels between worlds.

That is genuinely hard to pull off and not many teams are even trying.

So here is what I keep thinking about. Does a Web3 gaming token actually need multi-game utility to survive long term, or is one well-run game with solid tokenomics enough?
