Fed nominee just admitted he holds crypto – wait, what?

Kevin Warsh. Trump's pick to run the Federal Reserve. Just dropped his financial disclosure.

And yeah… he owns crypto. A bunch of it.

What he's got:

Through some investment funds, he's holding positions in:

Solana ($SOL )

Optimism ($OP )

Compound ($COMP )

dYdX (DYDX)

Polymarket (the prediction market)

Even Lightning Network stuff -2-9

Basically, DeFi, L2s, Bitcoin infra – the whole buffet.

Here's the kicker though:

His total net worth? Over $100 million. The crypto part? Only about $250k-$500k. Small slice. -2-7

And if he gets confirmed? He has to sell it all. Ethics rules. -6

Why this matters:

The person who might run the Fed… has skin in the crypto game. Even if it's small. Even if he sells.

Compare that to Powell who called Bitcoin "speculative garbage." Night and day.

My two sats:

Not saying this makes Warsh "pro-crypto." But it tells you something. The guy understands the space. He's not just reading briefing notes.

Confirmation hearing is April 21. Should be interesting. -9

What do you think – good for crypto or just politics? 👇

Not financial advice. Just watching the game.
