I tracked how I used Binance AI Pro across twelve $XAU trades. The pattern was uncomfortable.

Before entry, I ran an average of four queries. I checked the setup, the macro context, the structure, the risk. I felt thorough. I felt prepared. I used the tool the way it was designed to be used.

At exit, I ran zero.

Not once across twelve trades did I open AI Pro and ask whether now was actually the right time to close. I either hit a price target and closed automatically, or I felt the trade was done and closed manually. Both of those decisions were made entirely on instinct.

This is the asymmetry I had not noticed.

Entry gets the research. Exit gets the gut.

I started thinking about why. Entry feels high-stakes before the fact. There is uncertainty ahead of you, so you reach for information. Exit feels lower-stakes in the moment. You are already in the trade. The uncertainty feels smaller because you can see where you are.

That feeling is wrong. The exit decision is often where the real performance gap lives. Getting in at the right level means little if you exit at the wrong one.

I now have one rule. Before I close any $XAU position, I ask AI Pro the same question I asked before I opened it. Not to get permission to exit. To check whether the reason I entered still exists.

If it does, I stay. If it does not, I already have my answer.

The tool was always capable of helping at exit. I just never thought to ask.
