Binance($BNB ) has introduced a new in-app messaging feature called Binance Chat on April 15, aiming to make its platform more like a complete financial “super app.”
The feature allows users to send messages, share content, and transfer crypto without leaving the app.
Users can connect with others using unique chat IDs and participate in group conversations.
It also lets people share trade cards and send crypto payments directly within chats.
Binance Chat is integrated with Binance Square, enabling access to creator-led communities and discussions.
For privacy, users must accept chat requests before conversations begin.
Some features, like group chat creation, are still being gradually rolled out and may not be available everywhere yet.
According to Jeff Li, the goal is to simplify everyday crypto use by combining communication and transactions.
This move reflects a broader trend of crypto platforms expanding into social and payment services.
