A central concept in this evolution is the "creative token," of which there are two primary categories: utility tokens and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Utility tokens are generally designed to provide access to a specific product or ecosystem, much like using specific credits to access an online design suite or play a game. The most significant shift, however, has been driven by NFTs. These tokens utilize blockchain to create unique, tamper-proof certificates of ownership and authenticity for digital files. Before the advent of NFTs, proving that one owned a specific digital artwork was nearly impossible, given the ease with which digital files can be copied. Now, while a file can still be distributed, its verifiable ownership is uniquely recorded.#pixel
