Why do most reward systems feel fine at first… and then slowly stop making sense ??
At first, Pixels looked simple to me. Just farming, tasks, earning $PIXEL . Nothing new. But the more I watched how players actually behave, the more I noticed something deeper. New users just follow tasks. Experienced players ? They optimize everything time, actions even risk.
It feels less like a game, more like a system quietly shaping behavior. Rewards aren’t just rewards, they guide decisions.
Reminds me of people tweaking Excel sheets late at night, trying to get better outcomes with the same input.
So I keep thinking… is Pixels just a game or is it teaching players how to think in systems?
