Pixels — just another P2E or actually different?
👇👇👇👇
Last week I accidentally spent two hours in Pixels. Just wanted to check "what's this thing" — ended up stuck on a farm. Not because of "play and earn", but because it felt like those old browser games where you just... exist in a world.
Most blockchain games are a facade. Pretty packaging and a token dropping every month. Pixels isnt innocent here — $PIXEL sits around $0.008 now, down from $0.50+ ATH. I wont pretend I don't see that.
But the team did a few things that stopped me from slapping the "dead P2E" label on it. They removed the inflationary BERRY token. Moved to USDC rewards via the Stacked system. Thats not marketing — thats admitting the old model was broken.
Is it enough? Honestly — no idea. The economics havent proven stability yet. But at least someone at @Pixels is asking the right questions .
Anyone played recently? What do you think about the new reward mechanic?
