Opened Pixels with low expectations tbh… felt like just another Web3 game loop connect wallet, grind, hope for rewards. but yeah… it surprised me a bit.
It doesn’t instantly feel like crypto. you’re just farming, walking around, collecting stuff… simple, kinda cozy. like an actual game first, not just a system trying to push tokens. and i think that’s what makes it different.
But still… that question stays in the back of your mind am i here for fun or future rewards? because i’ve seen how fast these things shift. today it’s chill, tomorrow it becomes a grind.
Also not sure about long-term depth yet. it feels nice now, but will it hold attention without constant incentives? that part matters.
So yeah, mixed feelings. there’s potential, no doubt… but also risk like every Web3 project.
