I don’t think Pixels is something to dismiss. It has enough intentionality to be taken seriously. The design choices feel deliberate. The pacing feels considered. The environment feels like it was built to be lived in, not just interacted with briefly. Those things matter more than people realize.
But I also don’t think it’s something to blindly believe in. There are too many open questions. Too many dependencies that haven’t been tested yet. Too many examples in crypto where something that felt stable quietly broke under conditions nobody paid attention to early on.
So I end up somewhere in the middle… watching it more than judging it. Curious, but not convinced. Interested, but still cautious. Because if Pixels succeeds, it won’t be because it looked good at the start. It will be because it held its shape when everything around it started pulling in different directions.
