Iranian authorities have refused to engage in further negotiations unless the U.S. naval blockade is lifted.
🔴Iran declined to send a delegation to the next round of talks in Islamabad, insisting that the United States must first remove its maritime blockade. In response, Vice President Vance canceled his planned visit to Islamabad.
🔴President Trump extended both the blockade and the fragile ceasefire, stating that it will remain in place until Iran presents a credible plan and an acceptable deal. Tehran views the blockade as a violation of the existing ceasefire and an act of war, while Washington considers it a necessary instrument of pressure.
An official Iranian spokesman declared that the Iranian side formally rejects the extension of the ceasefire and will respond to the naval blockade by armed means, adopting a "tanker for tanker" posture.
🔴Despite the ceasefire extension announced by President $TRUMP , armed confrontations in the Strait of Hormuz have not ceased. The core contradictions - the U.S. naval blockade and Iran’s nuclear program - remain entirely unresolved.
🔴The key dynamic of pressure versus resistance persists, with no clear exit from the impasse in sight.
🔴In the near term, elevated volatility is expected to continue - both regionally and across global markets - as both sides test the limits of each other’s resolve.
