Indonesia's local-currency transactions under the LCT framework experienced significant growth in the first two months of 2026, according to government agency data. The transactions increased by 163% year on year, reaching $8.45 billion in January and February. Additionally, the number of users participating in these transactions rose to 14,621 by February.
